The usage of spunbonds and nonwoven-based one-way composite materials is getting more and more wide-spread in the healthcare and medical segment in order to meet the hygienical and sterility requirements of the 21st century.
Masterplast plays recently an active roll in fighting the pandemic by producing the raw materials of among others the protective glowns and face masks. We supply our medical partners with certified and safe nonwoven materials and Linopore materials in different unit weights, colors and surface treatments in the requested roll sizes.

 

 

 

Our medical partners request Ökotex-certified nonwovens in different roll sizes: jumbo rolls, sliced narrow rolls, short rolls with given paper core size and roll diameter. Masterplast can serve these needs.
Beside the basic white color, also special medical green and blue, pink, brown, etc. colors are commonly used, we can offer them as well.
Special treatments we can also add to our naturally hydrophobic nonwovens, in order to be hydrophylic, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, etc.
For some partners the softness of the materials is vital, it can be adjusted, while some clients prefer skin-contact friendly materials.
The Hygcen and Innovatext certified Linopore composite materials we can also supply with anti-static treatment upon request.
For our long-term partners providing us with an order plan, we are able to keep safety stocks of the most sold items and upon need we can organize the freight of the products too.

 

 

Basic approved PP and PE spunbonded nonwovens of 15-70g/m2 are the most commonly used raw materials for the production of special medical devices.
Beside the nonwovens, we are offering also 38-90g/m2 certified 2-layer composite materials made with Linopore technology and developping further composite materials providing high particle filtering properties.

  • Face masks: PP spunbond (Ökotex certified) 15-70 g/m2, Melt-blown 15 – 50 g/m2
  • Shoe covers, hair covers, bed covers: PP spunbond (Ökotex certified) 30-50 g/m2 or Linopore 20+20
